I do not want to cause rumours or spread panic but I have seen it stated elsewhere that the production of the Eurovox MaxV will very shortly cease and once stocks are depleted - they will be no more.

Is there any truth in this or is it a marketing ploy by someone to panic ppl into buying the PVR instead? Personally this does not worry me as the EV's (all models) have been well supported so far and I'm confident this will continue for the MaxV for a while yet.

I had debated pm'ing a couple of members here that would be a lot more 'in the know' than me but if I ask out here at least I may save others asking the same question over and again.

As the box is quite similar, I would image that the MAX V would cease - seems logical to me.

There are a lot of MAX V's out there, I don't expect the support to suffer at all. I don't see any reason for Panic at all.
