help me chip ntl box plz

hi everyone

i have a spire ntl box black one if this makes eney difference

i would like to mess about with it abit

i see there is a usb connector on the back of it and i made a male and male connector to connect the ntl box to my pc but newt com up.

i think i need softwere but dont no were to get this from
could some one help me on my way to chiping the box or maybe i would do something els with the box?
i'm quit teckie on the pc to
i also have a sky box too
i have both cards wit hthe boxes

wot u got a pace? if so which model? u need the ird and bk from the paired card, read in nagraedit with programmer....then a clean card and the programmer to edit a suitable img, again in nagraedit, and put on the card.....there you go simple....hope ur card is paired to ur box and hasn't been locked because u'll need an unlooper to unlock the card or if the box is the right model a jtag to get the info.....

yerr its a pace well the card i have for it was the original when i was paying monthly but i stopped paying and oviusly all channels went apart from th free ones

sorry to be a noob but whats a ird? and jtag am really new to this but so keen to learn this skill
the program i need can be downloaded of net rite? am not sure if its ok to speak about downloading on here? surly yes as chipping boxes is?
also i will need some kind of card reader aswell?

mate u need card programmer first in order to read ur cards, if u lucky the info u need are in th ecards. check at the bottom of the box to see what model its come back to us with it.

as technically minded as you are i would start at the beggining and read the cable guide for dummies, basically it is what it says but it helps

model number is Di4010-N on the card it says its made by NAGRAvision

ill get a card reader then also read a cable manual

if the card has been on stream (in box) after u stopped subscribing then it is likely to be locked.......shouldn't mod a subbed box either....

ird u can get no prob, boxkey is the important info u want. u will need to get a programmer, if the card is locked u need to decide whether u buy a unlooper to unlock the card so u can read it or a jtag which connects to the chip inside the box, connects to the pc and software reads the info on the chip.

best thing to do first is remove cable feed from box and go into engineers menu by pressing up/down arrows on front of box while u boot....put card back in box and go to page 7 i think and read the card rev....this will tell u if it's locked....and paired to box

am having trubble finding the write type of card reader could somone help me? is it a sim card reader?

i will plug box in to nite and get the info on the settings screen of the box too

u can read the card using the programmer. Did u get a Prgmer first? if u do then u can read it using that.

i have a k3 loader but i have no idea how i use the softwere
also i take it i connect the ntl box to my pc with a jtag ? i cant seem to find eneywere in the uk that sells them
also i think my card will be locked as it was in the ntl box when i stoped paying for the service
