please please please help? jtag error

hello guys & girls
been tring to jatg a sammy 2100c this weekend i have pogo jtags, running windows xp my sammy has just updated to the latest 3.6 software.i open mac mot before i open up ocd commander my connections are wiggler,arm940t,lpt1 i click ok i get the following error ind ocd "CANNOT ENTER DEBUG MODE" been reading all night now tried it live on stream and managed to get it in debug mode any ideas anyone also tried sdt keep getting unable to put target in background mode any ideas p.s in pure area.any help greatly appreciated

use bke as wellas ocd, as when you connect with bke it comes up green light, and connected then open ocd, it can be tricky but you can jtag live on stream

if you get a connection with bke, you know its fine, i know it can be fiddley holding them in place while jtagging, you just have to be patient

open bke then run the driver, give it a min to initilize, then click connect

when i open bke i keep getting pc to target cable disconnected what should my settings be for lpt i currently have bidirectional selected from bios set-up or should i hap epp and also should there be any settings on printer port properties ie should i tick the enable legacy plug and play.is there any test i can do to make sure jtags are working correctly jtags come from tmc.

i had the same thing with my new jtag found all the differnt colour wires werent the same as my old one
so i was soldering wires in differnt places
got a lend of brothers old one and bang got it first time after messing for 4 days with the new one

just debating now whether to cut the pins off and just solder probably easier than holding down the jtags

you need to know which one is vcc,gnd,tdi,tms,tdk,tdo

then you can get you points right but if its pogo your using it shouldnt matter as the pins are preset for the points

just dont know what else to try now been up all night ****ing me right off now learned everything else but just cant jtag thats what makes me think whether the jtags are ****ed or not,just not much left to try

Yes tick enable legacy p+p in device manager, if your not getting a good connection try cleaning and tinning points with solder.
