i have a eurovox max and have never been able to get it working properly,so the otherday i decided to try put the new firmware on and channel file.after much messing about i did this and then connected my box up and did a fast scan and it worked perfectly.i got 200+ channels.after the 1st time i put it on a splitter so i could run my pc aswell and it was still working fine.then 3 days later it has come up with no signal flashing????

Which Eurovox do you have? and which firmware did you load?

Have you checked the website for your cable supplier to make sure there are no problems in your area?

where on the site do you find out or do you have to mail them? my pc is working fine??

i have now checked and it says there are no problems???

i have just noticed i am getting hardly any signal cause i have re flashed my box and tried setting it back up could this be the problem???

it would be easier to help if you say which box you have got the boxes have diffrent firmware on them

eurovox max i have installed fimware UFL_MaxV_Kuro3_18_04_08(2)

if this is the information you wanted

i also tried it with UFL_MaxV_Kuro3_28_04_08_T

as i say it was working then just went off and said no signal,i have tried the v media site and it says no problems in my area but i checked the box and the signal was low.when i installed these version of firmware i could not find the signal booster option??

There are 3 different max boxes, red - blue and maxv black
the 18/04/2008 firmware is for the max v black

Just to add, the 28/04/08 firmware, also for the maxv, is for a specific signal problem. Dont use this unless you have the signal problem.

i have a eurovox max v im not sure if i have the signal problem but at the moment my signal is very low when i plug it in so i assumed i did have??

Try plugging it in without the splitter ie. plug cable directly to box and check signal strength.

i put 18/04/2008 firmware on it and then have just tried without the splitter

i ended up getting channels TV1,TV2,TV3,TV4 and TV 5 doing my head in now i had problems since i bought it!!!!!!
