Hello there,

Right i have my chipped NThell box from my mate!!
works a treat, works the same as my VM box, just now i get all the channels, apart from the porn channels, does anyone know how to activate these?

Also what abouyt PPV channels? Would i have to pay for them?
I have a PIN number that i use for certain movie channels and i guess this would work for the PPV channels, but i wont do it if i have to pay for them.

Please help.

first off you still get 3 porn channels i think which are playboy,adult chan nel and television x. to active them you just put your pin number in , or you might have to go into the settings off your remote and tick the channels to active them as you mate may have had them turn off ,as for the ppv you no longer get them. and also you should have the talk back cut.......

Hi yes the talkback is cut, i cannot get bbciplayer etc (but thats alright)
Yes i think im gonna have to do that, wjere abouts is it to tick the channels because they are grey which means i cannot view them, i do not get the ppv porn do i?

on your remote press settings and press no3 locked channels then enter your pin then press ok to unlock the channel you want to view........

hi, ive have tried that and the channels are not locked.
the channels on the tv guide are dark grey and not white
it says i am not subscribed to the channels
what else can i do?

I take it you are using a tiered image with 8+ different tiers? You need to add the relevant tiers for the porn channels for your area-i'm sure someone on here will have them. Alternatively a blocker image (i'm sure there's one in downloads) which id a 2 "open tier" image which blankets the channels instead of singular tiers. I'm the same in TW-I have all channels except porn but have never managed to get the relevant tiers as yet.

If you use a blocker image it basically covers all channels available so should unlock all channels available with just 1 or 2 wide ranging tiers-If you use a fully tiered image you will have to have 8+ single tiers each of which will open a certain amount of channels-so 1 tier will do the basic package, another will do sports, another films and so on. The 3 adult channels that are available have their own tier info that you need to unlock them. Hope that makes sense.
