Default starview 1

when i do a auto scan i dont get any channels showing up there should be red going across when its finding channels nothing there does anyone know what it might be please help woman in distress

Is the box flashed with the latest firmware
Have you selected your cable network provider in the installation menu

yea it was soon as its loaded up it will come up with language menu its also making a buzzing noise aswell i forgot to mention before

the reason why i changed it was because i had problems with channels breaking up i changed the C11 aswell also the u2 cap has melted but i cant get one of those dont sell them at maplins

The replacement of these caps will not improve tuner reception. You replace the C11 when the box wont boot due to it been bulged or blown. I cannot help you on the U2 as never had to replace one.

How did it melt and are you sure its called U2? However looks like you have power and are able to scan, is the coax plugged it the Cable In RF port. Without knowing what was done to the PSU board its hard to tell what shape your SV is in.
