Error2 Solution
Many people including my self have had a problem with error2 (simm error) came up against it today on a box i have putting back together....and heres the solution and a simple one it is...
firstly remove simm board from its 2 housing clips left and right ( just pull the springs towards you) ease the board out gently, TRY NOT TO DAMAGE ANY CONNECTIONS... now with the simm board in your hand clean the pins at the bottom of the board very lightly with nail polish remover, it just so happened i had some to hand, (to much blue peter when i was a kid  now reinstall board BEING CAREFUL NOT TO DAMAGE CONNECTIONS. at this time decided to pull red jumper and go the full hog .used libby reset id and pin no. hey presto 1 working unit with no error 2..hope this works for you as it did for me SPIKEBABY
