Hi there,

am i right in thinking that a ntl box would reset it's own net id. if the cable feed is plugged in.

but how would this be done?

Any help would be very much appreciated.

It depends what box it is to be honest, what box are you referring to?

i got a pace 4001 NC,4001N and a 4010N. are any of these any good?

Only if your in pure ntl platform, then box will set netid automatically, those boxes oparete in pure areas

yes in pure ntl platform. how would i go about doing it? do i have to first remove the red jumper to let it reset back to 09999 net id then just plug it in to the cable feed to let it change to the correct net id?

no need to do that, just the box with cable feed in, let it take update.

yes you need to pull the red jumper on pace boxes
