Default Using Remote Eyes

Hello... Am a bit of a novice when it comes to this sort of thing so please help!!!!

Originall had Sky+ box in front room and then cables running up to my and my daughters bedroom... Have this remote eye thingys (told you I was technical!!!) they enable me to turn sky over from upstairs...

Have now got rid of Sky and instead have a Starview box... I can now get sound and pictures in my room and picture only in daughters (think something to do with tuning the tele but has no fine tune I can find!!) but I can't get the remote thingys to work...

Help!!! what am i doing wrong please

Thanks

Confused!!
