Cant stop freq scan

I'm trying to flash my epc2100 with spansion chip. Had a nightmare with my home made max232. Sorted my max 232 have tftp the 5101 file and the 2100 is running the freq scan but i cant stop it. I've copy and pasted commands from the guide loads of times but it wont stop scanning.....can someone please help, its taken me 3 days to get this far and im nearly there!!

first of all, whats the name of the firmware you loaded
and what is the name of the guide too

anyway here's what you will need, copy and right click/paste each line seperatley, and no caps-lock, and no cable feed
and make sure you use hyperterminal, also all these commands listed can be automatically done with the 250_configurator.exe

cd \cm_hal
scan_stop
cd \

scanning should stop

write_memory -s 4 0x807e8b98 0xAABBCCDD (press enter)
write_memory -s 2 0x807e8b9c 0xEEFF (press enter)

Replace aabbccddeeff with your mac you want to use
Next we must force the modem to commit this to flash.

annex_b (for c&w replace with annex_a)

usb_mac_address <your usb mac address here> (enter as aa:bb:cc:dd:ee:ff)

change the username and pass for telnet, you should do this

block all remote updates. stops modem taking any software updates

dont forget to open the modem webpage and enter the downstream frequency then go back an type these in to save it

and you should come online,
