The orbital dishes fit the cryptik motor nicely, you can still get them although they are a bit more expensive. But a lot easier to set up as there is one less adjustment to make.

I can't get 26E on the TD110 Triax either

I put it down to the shatty elevation bracket. It might be that it can't reject the sats if they are too close.
I think I got it on my Orbital 1m OK. But 7W is definitely better on the Triax than it was on the Orbital.

Conclusion, the Triax has more gain, but the Orbital is better for close together sats (I think).

Given a new choice, I would get neither and go for a proper dish like and ASC signal 1m with matched feedhorn and C120 LNB.

But more realistically a Gibertini or Penta, because they are cheap.

Thanks for all your replies guys - really.
i think i'll go for the 1m orbital at the moment as if i remember on my TD88 i wasn't to happy with the lnb holder it seemed not to secure. But i will keep looking anyway.
As for a can of worms my next post was going to be "which lnb" but i better leave that there for now!

yes the lnb holder is not solid either mine is quite loose so had to put some tape around it so it would fit snugly in the lnb arm

keep a check on ebay as quite a few come up and go quite cheap. mine was only 50 quid with mount and even had the feedhorn on it and then its 85 quid for the 1224 motor from germany.
