Looks like he done a bad job. Are you sure its an SV2 called "The Box" as it should have Ch**us as a provider?

Makes sense alright. The Starview 1 will not have Ch**us in its provider menu. You need to add all the info manually and then scan. I can give you all the info you need.

I presume you have to update codes manually also? Press menu and system info I just want to see what he has flashed it with.

i will do that when i get home im out mobile at the moment he said he just tried scanning in new channels that were not working but in fact he wiped out the lot no channel listings at all now. when the box is turned on it asks for language and once that is done it goes to choose operator and then scan. i did notice when going into manual scan there was no signal on the signal meter. but because i could not select cho**s from the operator list i presume thats why there was a lack of signal

No problem when you get home just tell me the system info. I will give you all the info for your area and provider. I can post symbol rate and frequency list here and how to input them You will need codes I can pm those to you as they are not allowed here.

Manual input of all the info should only take a short while so should have you back up and running in no time.
