Question Help getting Started appreciated!

Hi guys , my Kryptview finally arrived today after three weeks waiting. it was advertised as 1-2 days!!, Interlinks fault I think, as they never even attempted delivery as they had Landmark = white door, my door is Lilac/purple, so never got calling card and had dispute on fleebay cause of them, sorry just my rant about dodgy couriers.

I do not currently have any cable subs only sky but canceling that, what I would like to know is (1) can I get my Kryptview working with all channels with no subs at all, I just looked at the (cable entry) box on wall, the part that says TV has a cable linking to my modem, the other two (FM/Data) have no wires, just slots, which slot is used for cable? its not the same wire going to modem is it, can it be split?
(2) The guy said he would send me a CD but never did, he sent the cable to link to PC though, which is latest software and where can I get it, does computer recognise box as another drive and just copy info over or is there more to it?
(3) bought this off ebay from Kryptview1000, they assured me no clones, how can I check?
will appreciate answers in as much detail as needed to Q's 1 & 2, if I do have to get virmin in they can do it in a week or so, Thanks

what is your isp? if it is virmin then all you need to do is get a splitter like this.

1.get a splitter and you can run the feed off your modem cable
2.I dont think theres any Kryptview firmware in the download section for some reason, the latest firmware is 04/04/08 and theres a thread somewere telling you how to flash it have a search on here
3.dont think theres any kryptview clones about yet so you'll be ok
Recommended seller for Kryptviews is tailor made circuits first class service.
