did you press ok after selecting 6887 to erase all data forgot to mention that

when you press yellow button for powerscan there should be an option were it says "mode" use the volume keys to select full.
should take up 30 mins to do the scan
if its still not picking up channels try reflashing it again then do a factory reset straight to 6887
other option is to send a sevice file for your area to it

got screen which is entitled full power scan with menu underneath start 100mhz, stop 870mhz,symbol rate 6887, and then 3 symbol rate 0.000 and then step 8, not allowing any colour buttons to be pressed, must click ok to begin scan. when clicking scan green bars are showing but no channel number and clicking through from 0-77o although not taking 30 minutes.
system information after download tonight is showing model--DVB-XCBOX STV S/W VER 1.0 SSC4 APR 21 2008 H/W VER 2.0S BOOTSTRAP v002. sorry bout this just checking i have downloaded correct firmware.

Plan B lol
download voxer and the attached cdf file and extract the cdf file to desktop

with the box connected with your null modem cable

1.open voxer exe
2.click on the button "open cdf file" and locate the cdf file on your desktop
3.click on "send service file to eurovox" and it will send the file
thats it!
post back if you have any probs

CDF file is just all the channel data info, eg when youve done a full scan you can then arrange the channels into whatever order you want and save that file(cdf/service file)
so if you ever update your firmware and it automatically deletes all your channel data (only sometimes) you can just reload your cdf file instead of having to do a fresh scan and arrange them all again which can be quite time consuming if you dont really know what your doin.
Its not a problem if you havntgot/cant find a file for your area all you need to do is a fresh powerscan and all channels will appear
