PSTwo Modding Help

Hi, I am trying attempting to mod a friend's Slim PS2 (PSTwo) and I was looking into doing a softmod. I would like to know how to do it so that he can boot backups and maybe homebrew applications. I know about the memory card exploit for the fat PS2 but is there anything similar for the slim version?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance to anybody that can help,

can do the swop trick on slims

you have to open the case and stick 3 pins down so the disc keeps spinning whiles the tray is open and then swop the discs at the PS logo

Does this work if I swap an original game with a different copy? E.g If I swapped Need For Speed Most Wanted (Original) for GTA Vice City Stories (Backup), would it work?

Hi you can fit a modchip yourself but it is illegal in this country. There are still quite a few suppliers but none that I'm aware of in this country. You can try modsupplier.com and they should have what you want. You will need good soldering skills.
