Default Starview 1 flash help

I recently tried to flash my starview box with CryptStar-v1.4-Core400.bin using gtrom loader and now all i get on my box is green lines flashing across. Reading other threads people were saying to start the download while the box is off then turn it on a few seconds after, i did this and the file downloaded and said it was complete but still i have flashing green lines.

i have a starview orginal box with 7x13 vent strips im sure im using the correct file why wont it work?

any help is appreciated

If you have lines like this ---- constantly going across yes its a bad flash. The bad flash method of turning off the box then hitting download, wait a few seconds and then turn it back on does work.

It just takes persistence as it may take quite a few attempts.
