Sammy 2100c Thanks

Thanks to All from This Forum & dare I say, one other.

also my special thanks to Lincsat.

I have just managed to read my Sammy 2100c with 3.6V & prog funcard4 fot the first time.

The method worked for me was the box was not in debug mode, ie. just live feed (normal) with byte 0x00895934 8 in OCD Commander for BKE & IRD was converted from Nagra Serial in Eng Mode.

The JTAG Error "Cable not connected to target pc" problem was with the parallel extension cable.

Again MANY THANKS to ALL who helped me.

i have the same problem and ive tryed everything to get this sorted but still no joy

Have you got mac mot running ? are you on stream ? enable legacy p+p ticked in device manager, otherwise its a connection problem, the cable should be parallel type.

My parallel extention cable was faulty, so I connected the JTAG direct in the computers parallel port.

can you give me a step by step guide how to enter new bytes to my 2100 /need to get my bk
jtag connected , macmot running,used sam debug and bke 2 got ird but no bk
u probably know how mindnumbing it gets lol

Danny Try This For Size.....

If your've updated to VM Edit BKE config file with these byte locations:

IRD
0x20020004

B/KEY
0x00564e78
0x00f6a8a8 [sammy 2100 3.3 pure]
0x008adcd0
0x0086b6b0
0x00f69af8 [sammy 2100c 3.5L pure]

And make sure your waiting untill 0 is displayed on the sammy display before you press connect.

*Instuctions Samsung 2100*

1. Make sure you edit the config file in BKE with the latest byte location for your area.(u will find config files in programfiles/BKE/Jtag config).


2. Start BKEv2.2 and go to TOOLS/Jtag/click on Jtag driver xp/nt/2000 driverload will open, point this to your MAC_MOT_SYS driver and press start then exit, and then On BKE select your samsung model type and what config file your using.


3. Boot the box up with jtag connected, no cable feedWait till display goes LD:20
Press and hold (down arrow button) on front of box for about 5 seconds or release when display reaches LD:40.
and wait untill display on box says 0 and the stanby light go's from green to red,THEN and only Then press connect. there you have your box key.


If still no good after all that try these bytes:

Excw 3_2B

Excw 3_3B

or
0x009b5290 8
or
0x00f6a930 8

ocd working,typed byte in
do you press enter?
what do you now press to reveal ur bk?

type in the byte for your area and firmware version eg excw 3.6 "byte 0x008D6284 8" then enter and your bk should be revealed
