i think i have auto update on keys but not sure

ive been looking at my dbox and in the tuxbox commander i went to
camd_cfg
there i saw an option that says
AU
00 is ignored(default)
01 enable AU
02 AU auto

this is set at 01 at the moment. is this correct or do i need to change this?

and another one that says

key update
01 update only new keys, default setting
02 update all keys (used for vaild pmk checking)

this one is set at 00 is this correct or do i need to change this?

And 01 update only new keys

i think its updating however i do need to change 1 or 2 digits in the keys that roll over every 48 hours

you still need to add the updated roms to the image.

Lets be clear mate, if you are having to change 1 or 2 digits every keyroll then you are manually updating........the box is not Auto Updating.

Either flash an image that AU's like Blade Quad or Lincsat Beta 6 or copy the rom 7 fix via FTP to var/keys overwriting the existing then reboot your box then zap to a premium channel and wait till the picture clears.......may take two or three minutes.

yeah its not auto updating so i guess i have to flash the box. and to be honest im going to need a real idiots guide with exactly what i have to do from start to finnish.

ive had sevral guys try and explain it and i just cant get my head around it. lol is anyone near reading? if so i'll bring the box round along with a 6 pack and someone can show mw what to do. im willing to travel up to a 100miles.

just tried autoroute and i'm 103.4 miles from u lol....unless u live west reading....do it urself m8 plenty of peeps on here to help....once u got connectivity between pc and dbox2 (it is a dbox2?) then it's a piece of pi$$....get xover ethernet cable or i find easier if u got a router then a straight ethernet cable and go from there, 1/2 the fun is learning...

Go to the private FTA downloads, follow the links and download a guide m8.........do some reading , it's real easy.
