Hi, trying to update eurovox max with 18-04 update, it takes the update, then i clear data and put my cdf on when i connect back to tv no channels or t.p.s, did it again but as soon as the box is unplugged lose all info again, any ideas.

Connect back to tv again and check the firmware date on your box (just in case the update didn't go through properly)

When you say you are clearing the data - how exactly? Your box should not be connected to the TV or cablefeed when flashing the firmware

I've updated about 40 of these boxes, I've done everything as it should be, the update has worked, the box was supposed to be working ok but all i'm getting on the ppv channels is please insert smart card.

That's sounds totally different to your opening post. Am not UK based myself but is it simply possible that the PPV channels are not currently being streamed in your area by your CC

Hi, I also tried to update my EV1 with EV1 fix from big mac toolbar and was also getting "please insert smart card" message. Also lang. 1968 would not work to allow me to access keys. Had to reflash previous firmware and await new keys from big mac toolbar. Has anybody used EV1 fix successfully?

I think you have hit the nail on the head here,there is nothing there to update unless someone local has ordered something ....

all channels there on my box, reflashed last october firmware and it accepted cdf put it back on tv all channels there except ppv but it wont accept 1968 to enter keys manually or menu yellow button
