After the help given to me by several members some months ago, I have finally got round to patching my SL65 (E). But it looks like I made a boo boo and patched it with the wrong bin. file!
Using a null modem lead connected to the RS232 port all seemed to go well... the "Test Port" worked, and it loaded and burned the new file successfully. But after that, no matter what I do the only sign of life is the red standby LED on, and no display. I guess I am now in need of more help please! I assume I now need to do the necessary via the JTAG link? Can anyone supply the info to do this for the E version chip? regards, Boydell2008. |

Unlucky.
I suggest you go to the forums at satboard.uk.to where you will find a sticky that tells you how to recover a 'dead' SL65 E1 via Jtag. Sol |
