Sammy 2100c dead?

Its probably the caps on the power supply thats gone, quite common, have a look at 2100 psu tut in cable downloads, you could repair or swap psu from your spare box if its the same type, that would save you having to buy a j tag, lincsat does them if you do need one.

im 90% sure its the caps as above i have seen a few like this its really easy to check just open the box look at the caps on the power supply and the ones with black gunk on them need replaceing. get higher rated caps and the problem shouldnt happen again. tha caps i use were 16v 1000mu which replaces 10v 1000mu. good luck

thanks chaps. My box was actually a 2110C not a 2100 but just took out the power supply from the 2100c spare box I had and stuck it in the knackered 2110 and bingo bango bongo back to life again

That was a bit of luck as theres 3 types, you can probably fix the duff one.
