Scientific Atlanta Explorer 4200DVB
Hi people i need help i have to "modded" scientific atlanta boxes in my house (multiroom) lol But since i added added the 3 way splitter (with a modem running on third connection) the second box, upstairs some of the channels glitch and freeze!! could this be due to the splitter/signal or is the box acting up???? any help greatly appreciated

Yep, you have degraded the signal.
I have a V**g*n V+ one in one room and another PVR in another and the signal on the other squeeks and is blocky occasionally. Even the V box is blocky sometimes, but less often. There are signal boosters and devices for cleaning the signal but form my experience with freeview boxes they dno't make much of an improvement. P. |
