Hi guys,
been trying to do some research on creating blocker image but have had no luck ![]() Would any1 out there have any tut available on creating a blocker on a non blocker image? |

theres blocker images for rom 10 and 11 for all areas in downloads mate.

First of all you need to know what it is you are trying to block, this will mean logging or obtaining current logs of the data stream between the IRD and card then you will need to understand what it means. Once you have identified something you want to block then you will have to add this to the bugcatcher table, each entry in the bugcatcher table contains 4 bytes the first two bytes are the address of the bugcatcher SWI in the rom code the second two bytes are the address to jump to when the SWI executes. When the rom code is executing periodically at strategic points in the code it goes and looks at the bugcatcher table to see if there are any patches for that point in the code. So you have to decide at which point in the rom code when a SWI executes is the correct place to have your blocker execute. You use this address to catch the bugcatcher routine jump to the second two byte address where you install your code to analyse the code from ccs and decide if to allow it or block it. Not very easy and no ABC guides to do it the method is standard but the code will be different because at this level of coding there is always more than one way to do it!!!
