Hi, ive started led simming a pace 1000 1b, ive bought the led simm flashteater plug and play, ive got a laptop so i bought a serial to usb lead to plug into the led simm, ive plugged the led simm(btw the led simm is at the front of the box), ive plugged the led simm in and the power lead in ive gone into bk extractor but theres nothing lighting up(from the tutorial it shows it should light up), so im stuck any help or suggestions to what to do next or try next?

btw this my first time led simming

and oh, the box is displaying 88.88 when i power it on

theres a problem somewhere with the memory slot where you stick the led simm.

best was to get the pnp led simm with the switch on it.

all you do with that is press the button on it and them lights are the ird,then flip the switch to the left for first four numbers/letters of the bk and then to the right for last four.

theres a small app that you use,you just highlight the light box as per what you see and it converts it to easy alphabet/numbers.

i think it was £25 when i bought mine or something like that.

couldnt get the one with the switch on it, ive got the flashtester one with the button, i seem to have it perfectly in place in the slot but still nothing

should the lights light up automatically on the software once i plug it in?

If this is any help im running vista, also ive been reaing about changing comports but there is no option in the software im using to change the ports, basically im lost and need to be steered back on the honey path.lol

Ok i was using the wrong software, now got the right one, it says unable to oopen comport , the system cannot open specified file, i think my flashtester is broke as the computer seems no longer to reocgnise when i plug the usb in, but it did before

Ok if this helps when i use nagra i have to open it in com 3 theres no option in the software im using of open com 3 theres only com 1 and 2
