550 error permission denied for dbox2

hi, i ftp laky pro1 on my dbox after i did so i couldnt drag the bouquets or service.xml 550 error comes up all the time, i used advice of pressing blue button and looking up keys and pressing 1 but it isnt there so i cant use that method i'm not to sure how to "fix" this 550 permission denied issue so any help would be much welcome

Reflash the image.......it may be corrupt or maybe it's gone read only.

cheers i think its read only a message came up after playing around sayin the proxy server is not set up to allow full access any ideas how to correct this im not sure if i can reflash image as i cant access the dbox to do this ?

laky pro is already on my dbox it just dont come up when i try to reflash image

Flash with IFA following my instructions in post 3 here.

Note, that this works with crossover cable only, but not always first time !! Better if a null modem cable is connected too.

laky pro is not on your box !!!!

Everytime you unplug the box or reboot it all the contents of the /tmp folder are lost !!!!

Also remember to only ever FTP one image at a time to this folder since space is very limited.

cheers for that i tried it out and it reflash with no problems which is good because if it needs a new image update least i know how to do it so thanks big time for that , i still having message pop up "550 failed to change directory" when i try and paste the services.xml and bouquets in 192.168.0.202/tuxbox/config/zapit/ i can search channels up and all is good it just bugs me that i cant get into my dbox like i did first time with ftp! i have 2 other dboxs to do and im hoping i can avoid this on them not really sure how :$ and if anyone has more info on fixing the 550 error plz let me know

I had this last night when I updated with a newer image.
Use an ftp program rather than windows drag & drop. Cuteftp works fine.

Follow moo moo's instructions and use a proper FTP client, I use Smart FTP, it's free, just google it...........this will save you a whole load of hassle !!

Remember to set up your network properly, your new image will have a different IP address, change it to suit you PC IP ie box IP one more than PC IP.
