So far I have not succeeded but can some one tell me what exactly happens when a eurovox blue box is flashed. Does this eliminate the need to enter new codes when codes are changed or is then done automatically by the box. Thanks.

When you update the firmware on the Eurovox it will allow the box to automatically update the codes itself each time your cable provider changes the codes, so no more manually entering them

It is not a instant process - it may take a couple of minutes for the box to figure out the new codes so be patient. Changing the channel to sly sports 1 will update faster

I have managed to flash my box, but I will have to wait until the codes change to see if it updates itself, or is there another way to find out???

they updated this morning so if you flashed before that and its still working then everything is ok
if you flashed after that you will have to wait
just one thing if you flashed after that sometimes you have to wait a couple of mins before it changes back so dont panic if you see the message

the best advice is to go to sly sports channel and leave it there. it will update lot quicker than anywhere else for some reason

if you really cant wait to test out the new firmware.... manually enter the wrong codes.... switch to a encrypted channel and when you get the code updating message....wait it should update itself

yup these can be done m8 but you will need a box thats been paired with a card as you cant do this yourself as i believe
