Hello all nice forums.

Can anyone please tell me if this is real or a clone? It has somethings of a clone and some of real. And is it ok to flash real with clone? But I've flash it with clone anyway.

Thanks for the reply, I have that downloaded. Where am getting confused is the caps are not all green from top but does have four of em green from sides, but the screws are not red and the cable is not tangled, but scart has Black/Grey plastic cover.

After I flashed it with clone, I can't scan channels as if it's not picking up signal, and can't send the channel list to it, even though it's showing sending.

Should the clone firmware work with original?

Which box do you have? A blue, red or black?

Looks as if it's blue the tuner measures about 11 to 12 holes, I'll up another pic from the outside.

If the box says MaxV on the front then it's a black otherwise its a blue. What date firmware are you using?

Try reflashing the box again

The firmware I downloaded from toolbar, Blue 160408 core 140207 for clones, the system information in the menu of box is Feb 14 2007.

On the front it's just "EURO-VOX Max"

Actually when you say you can't re-scan are you going into Menu / Config / Clear Data then selecting Factory Default to set the symbol rate and selecting FULL SCAN?

Yes m8, over and over with both providers, but I also backed up data before flash, and can't send the channel list. Am I using the right firmware?

Yes as the box looks like a clone (a good clone but a clone nonetheless).

Try downloading the firmware and re-flashing again.

If that doesn't work then step the software back - flash the box with the 19/2/07 firmware (this was the last genuine firmware that was clone friendly). You will need to manually input the keys and scan again but at least it should get you back to your starting point.
