SportsXchange, the sports betting channel formally launching today, has been confirmed as a free to air service with the Sky EPG number 456.

The channel has also announced it will be airing live coverage of Brazilian Championship football on Saturday and Sunday nights.

Presenters signed up include horse racing journalist Charlie Brooks, Patrick Kinghorn and David Compton.

Among the other contributors will be Stewart Robson, Ray Houghton and Alvin Martin on football, Robert Green and Jeremy Chapman for golf and Ed Hawkins on cricket. Lydia Hislop, Eddie Freemantle and Steve Mellish will take part in horse racing coverage.

"The channel will offer a combination of live information based programming hosted by leading sporting experts, offering their opinions and market knowledge so punters can make informed decisions," said Robin Bosworth, SportsXchange chief operating officer.
