Box keeps showing "searching for signal" - Techwatch: Satellite TV forums, FTA, Cable, Hardware, & Tech forums

We have a Eurovox maxV and the channels won't come on,it keeps on showing "searching for signal" but we have been watching cable until recently-no probs. We just had to put the keys in manually as usual and it was ok. About a week ago i was messing with the remote and all of a sudden all the channels dissapeared. When i auto scanned most of the channels returned and i had to sort the favourites again. Maybe this has something to do with the signal problem. Can anybody help?

make sure all connections are secure,

silly question m8 but have you pressed the favorits button?

Pressing everything but its like theres no signal coming from outside!! It says that we've got 8% quality and level when you press info twice!!

if your using a splitter make sure thats connections r secure.
are the scart leds secure.
Is the signal booster switched on.
If nothing like this works what s/w version is your box running

A-no splitter
B-scart lead secure
C-were not using a booster i think, just box
D- were using Eurovox maxV on VM

is your feed on in the cab box or do you pay for your services

Just using an old cable connection. No monthly payment. If thats what you mean.I just payed for the box.
