wait until you get the box.
when you hook it up and switch it on, it should tell you what image it is using

The wife has just called to tell me I have had a delivery from Germany, please pleas elet it be my Dbox, if so I shall be back on-line later,
quick question prasiet will i need to connect it to my laptop to check if the image is flashed or should i just hook it straight up to the cable?

just plug it in to the cable and see what you get.
i bought a box from Germany and it needed flashing but my mate bought one preflashed.
if you hook it up and get all the channels then you're sorted , if not give us a shout

Hi

As long as box is in debug mode its ok. Probably has an image on it but maybe not the latest AU ones.

Anyway the fun of the dbox is trying different images trust me lol.

i have managed to flash the sportster1.75(2x).img image to the box and have added the services.xml file, i have then done a channel scan but don't seem to get any of the non fta channels, can anyone help?

cheers for the advice Rodboy but i downloaded the chatterbox toolbar, and edited teh keys with tuxbox via the remote and now i have just finished watching the gooners beat bolton 3-1 on setanta so i am a happy bunny at the mo

on a side note which is the best image that AU's?
