i have just bought one on e-bay £103 including shipping
is the connection at the back basically the same as any other cable box where the nthell cable goes into or is it different thanks rudeboy500

F connector mate, and ethernet for networking. Very easy to get a coax F adapter/cable if it's not included.

An F connector to coaxial connector is what you need. It looks like the normal male coax cable at one end, the other is a threaded screw which will attach to your NTL cable.

Hi sorry to jump into the post but being a complete noob i've also brought exactly the same thing from ebay, and the description says that this is in debug mode, so does this mean it is pretty much plug and play, i.e i just hook it up using the correct connectors and away i go?

As yet i haven't actually recieved my box yet but the seller has sent me a doc which details various images and also how to transfer an image, is there any way to check if it is imaged apart from contacting the seller (obviously)
as you can tell i'm a bit of a worry wart but just fancy erring on teh side of caution. thanks for the help. |
