ive got a v+ box with paired card but it wont let me record i dont think its detecting the hard drive, all cables and that are connected fine. any ideas?

Try reformating hard drive, press play for 5 secs display will be E=00, press tv drive or v+ display will be E=01, press channel down 4 times display will be HD 1 2 3 4 stop at HD4 and wait, hard drive will then be clean, it should record .

tried that still nothing i dont even think it reformats the hard drive as the box doesnt restart

Can you hear the hard drive kicking in??

You may need to open the box and check that all the cables are pluged in.

the lids off i dont think the hard drive is kicking in ive took the leads out and pluged them back in again still the same thing

wat ur have 2 do m8 is wat i had 2 do basicly take ur hard drive out of the v+ and put in a pc and use partion magic 2 see drive and format it on ur pc then put bk in ur v+~ box m8 it sorts the problem trust

1 of the clips on the scart adaptor on the board had turned round so it wasnt plugging in properly but looked like it was
