Default Missing channels Bolton area

Hi all,

Ive been asked to look at a friends box. After gettin my own setup with the help of you guys I thought it would be easy. Right he has a sagam 1x dox and lives in bolton area so ex c&w (NTL).

Right I put blade quad on it like mine, although when I tried to scan for channels but none found. So after reading I flashed it with pancino trilogy. I scanned for channels using full scan took ages but everything is good except there's no Sky spot 1, 2,or 3.

Any ideas or can I scan manually?

Thanks , Martin

I'm in Bolton mate........i'm afraid your mates in the same boat as me, anologue signal area still with the brown box & crappy brown cable.
I tried everything, all images different boxes (eurovox & dreambox) cable splitters, boosters etc, i eventually got SKY sports by removing all splitters, connectors & the qamtex isolator splitter, but it freezes & breaks up all the time so is un watchable.
TRY:
Connect a quality cable directly from the Dbox to the incomming supply with nothing at all else in between (splitters etc) & do a full scan all uk cable, fast scan off.
You might be lucky, but if results are like mine you'll have to do what i did.....................
Buy an old anologue chipped box off Ebay (i got 1 for £15)
split your incoming feed & use the dbox for all your day to day viewing, just flick your old anologue box on fot SS1 & SS2!!! Sorted.
My old chipped anologue box is bomb proof! Doesnt go down with key rolls etc, been grafting for years, picture isnt as sharp as the dbox & theres not many channels on it but it solves the problem nicely.
Good luck
