Howdy folks,
Has anyone heard that the TM6900 is going to be discontinued? I thought this box was relatively new and surprised when I read it on another forum. Any ideas if TM intend to replace it? Also, on a side issue, does anyone have a list of which receivers are compatible with Sky cards, ie. they pass on the keep alive signal? Cheers Al

the reciever is great why change it. it will recieve HD freeview if we ever get it. so is future proof. it is there top end model ! how better could they improve it ?? probably have a built in Hard drive. maybe have two LNB inputs and one LNB output. with better and easier EPG.

I think I read in a post the other day by Lincsat that the TM6900 can read a Sky card too, but can't be sure.

the top end of range of technomates problem is that they are expensive compared with say the Pace HD box. But do a lot more with the cams !
Its a question of if yu want the best easy to use reciever then its the Technomate 6000 series and if you want the best reciever money can buy its the dreambox with its operating system. linux You pays your money etc etc |
