Default I want to replace my 2-week old Fortec Star Omega receiver

Well, after my exciting first two weeks of satellite digital TV reception, I'm thoroughly sick of the repeated crashes triggered by specific frequencies on the 19.2°E cluster (for example, watching channels on Astra 1H's transponder #77: 11.954GHz H 27500-3/4). I really hadn't expected that a signal could bring the tuner down and take the whole box with it.

So far, not even an acknowledgement of my polite email requesting help sent to tech_support@fortecstar.com so I'm planning to reject the receiver as unfit for purpose, and return it to the retailer.

Such a shame, because when it works, the box is easy to use, and has some nice viewer-centric features.

Can anyone recommend a reliable simple TVB-S receiver which I can use for watching channels on 19.2°E? I'm not in the mood to waste any more time with Fortec Star products, unless that would mean missing something guaranteed to be good. I don't think I need to spend more than about £50 to get a simple user-friendly TVB-S receiver, but then what do I know?

Thanks for any clues,
JST

One of the Technomates should be fine, for FTA only, the TM5200.
