unlooper

Hello people, I am a newbie here. I hope I would enjoy my stay. I've been looking at some threads on this form. It has actually really helped me out. I hope I could expect more.

I would like to ask few question about the unlooper which I bought today. I got this tiny unlooper with the atmel microcontroller on it. Now when I try to read any card through the unlooper I get an error message saying "Invalid ATR string". I do understand that the cards are all locked which need to be unlocked before we do any thing.

I thought unlooper is used to unlock the card? Am I right? And some people started saying that the unlooper needs to flash. What? are they all speaking about programming the Atmel controller is it? When they say flashing.

Can you please give me some idea on how to use this unlooper and how can I read the data from it.

it should be ready flashed and set up to do rom 11 if thats what your trying to unlock try reseting the atr in nagraedit or mron then run sidewinder to get details from the card then try to unlock the card
