Default eurovox 2008 problems

hello i have a problem with my new eurovox 2008 box, is it possible to have box connected to a second TV in another room as my wife likes to watch a film or something while she is in potting about house i understand that you need to watch same channel as whats on main TV thats OK, i have got it working with the original virgin box fine but i just cant get any feed to come back out of eurovox box thats 2 boxes Ive had now and had same problem is there something i need to be doing different. the method i have tried was to connect a lead from the loop out connection on box to second TV as this is how it worked for virgin box but not eurovox, and would i need to re-tune 2nd TV for eurovox connection.

as stated box works fine on 1st TV and is a flashed box when bought so i presume its not a clone box.

thank you

hope anyone can help.

Not the loop out, connect to the TV/VCR out and set the output to PAL I in the configuration menu.

does that enable you to watch the EV feed in another room or does it just send on the scrambled feed?

i have managed to get a feed to other tv but it has horizontal line acros screen, also now i cant get channels bbc 1 & 2, itv , channel 4, and five, on second tv unless it is on the ev box (what im trying to say is when i was using virgin box i got channels bbc 1&2, itv, channel 4, five as normal on second tv reguardless of what was on ev then channel 6 was ev feed. when i put airial into ev picture goes bad on second tv. sorry i hope i have been as clear as i can i will break down below
  1. feed from ev box to 2nd tv works but poor picture
  2. can't get 5 normal terestrial channels on second tv now(worked with virgin box)
  3. when external airial is pluged into ev box picture goes of on 2nd tv
i hope i make sense sorry,

Do you have a TV Aerial connected to the TV aerial input of the Eurovox?

You only get out of that connection the single Eurovox channel plus what you put in on the TV Aerial connection. You can use a lead from the RF Out to the TV Aerial input, then you would get the 5 Terrestrial channels again.

To clear the patterning on the Eurovox channel, you may need to change the output frequency in the setup menu. By Default it's set to 40, I would try in the range from 60 to 69

If you have put the TV aerial into the aerial input then you should be OK.

The RF out on the Box will give you a raw cable signal which still includes some Analogue channels. If you use this as your aerial, you should get the analogue cable channels through the TV output of your Eurovox - they will be on different frequencies to your TV aerial, so you would need to re-tune your TV set.

Hope that's clearer
