Hello, im running windows xp & when i shut down & re-start again the time & date are wrong on my computer, it happens all the time & it allways sets it's self to /e.g jan 2002, 20.35 hr's / i can change it back to the correct time & date, but as soon as i shut down it goes back to /jan,2002,20.35 hr's / ............ im not sure but could it be the battery on my othere board is there anyway i can check ..thank's

Most likely to be your BIOS battery mate, replace that and it should be ok. You can always test it by going into your BIOS setting your date/time etc there and then power off the machine and leave it off for a few minutes and repeat the task, see if the BIOS date is wrong.. if so, then a new battery will likely fix it...
