firmware update problem

I've got three boxs 2x EV 2 and 1x max about 12 months ago i up dated the firmware on all of them to a EV max with the 8 fav and purchased two new remotes all worked ok just updated the firmware to V 2,10 EV max ok one of the EV 2 is ok the second EV 2 when i go to download the firmware an error massage comes up This firmware is not fit for your reciever can any one help and what would be the differance between the two EV 2 boxs thanks for your help

are you trying top makethe ev2 to erovox max blue yes

if so you should not just be putting the firmware onto the box without jtaging it and changeing the tsop on the box m8

although some will takethe firmware ok it will not be gd for the box ma man i would jtag it and it will be ok
