Arbit 255 Ntl modem. Forgotton Password to config

Hi all, I have forgotton my password to configurator 255. I new it, i even logged on about 2mins before and changed the password from the factory but musta done a type error. Cant log in now.
Error is:-
Invalid username/password (reboot modem before trying again)

How can i reset this. I have no idea how to flash but can do via telnet perhaps. is this possible. thanks all

the only way is to plug the max cable in and use the config edit program to change the user name and password

ok wikid, could you tell me exactly what i need, ie equipment wise and also software wise. is it hard to do, thanks matey

get your self a max cable mate from the shop on here and then check out the downloads section for the config file easy to do if you follow the tut inside the download
