Thumbs up Kryptview V Starview V Eurovox, Which One??

Hi everyone, I am just enquiring with all you guys as to which box you would all advise a 'first timer' like myself, to think about purchasing..!!??

I have been looking on this and other sites but to be honest, it's a minefield of comments to comprehend. Any honest advise would be more than welcome.

I just want something easy to operate, with an option to upgrade if necessary, and as realiable as is possible. I am asking too much..?

Thanks, here's hoping...

Ive had eurovoxes for over 2 years and they are 100% reliable but the only pain in the arse bit is arrangeing channels in order and havin to do the odd rescan sometimes.
The latest eurovox is a pvr and unless you want a recordable hard drive i'd steer clear for now as theres a few teething probs that a newb might struggle with, but no doubt these will be ironed out cause the support for these boxes is excellent.

The past 4 months ive been using a kryptview and once youve initially set up and scanned the box it arranges all channels the same as \/irgin and also favourite catagories so no need to mess about arranging them.
Also scans in standby mode every night so you never lose any channels.
Only flaw with the box at the moment is with the epg, sometimes it works sometimes it dosnt but no doubt this will be sorted with future updates

As for the starview ive only tried them once at a mates house and that was once too often lol.

I'd recommend the Kryptview m8 great box great price,
Recommended seller tailor made circuits

The best way is to look at all FTA forums, the questions asked least, yes its the Arnet, this box has been running superb while others have slightly struggled, minor issues easly ironed out...jay

Well can confirm from a complete n00bie that the box is great, very easy to use and simple to setup.

Taylor Made Curcuits comes highly recommended from me a great guy with vast knowledge.

Wink Re: Kryptview V Starview V Eurovox, Which One??

I'll second that the Box is very good and very easy to set up once you have the loader and the software + RS232 cable
The picture is very good and the one thing that made me go for this one apart from all the great advice from the guys on here was the fact that you can organise channels into any order, I got standard channels 1-5 followed by all the sister channels (ITV2, Ch4 +1 etc) then got all my sports channels below channel 1, so this feature for me has proven to be very useful, no skipping through channels you never watch, because there are a lot of them!.
As Ronster said the EPG is a bit up and down at the min, but with updates this will likely be fixed soon and I am very happy so far with this box, I too did a lot of research and Kryptview and Eurovox where the top recomended boxes for ease of use.
Hey Ronster/anyone how long has the Eurovox PVR been out and how is it? I really wanted a PVR but from my experience they rarely work perfect, even S*y can't get it right which is why I first bothered to look for alternatives,so glad I did, I hate extortion Their loss and their fault, , I bought my gf a Humax and that is awesome just as a PVR, if the eurovox becomes reasonably solid or if Arnet introduce one I will have one, I guess the starview one is not highly recommended as when I looked for info on it, i could not find much.

if your looking for a tried and tested box then the euromax v is a good box. also the starview2 (the box) and the starview3 (the box super)are good boxes (didn,t get affected by the keyroll issue back in april)... the krypview though has very little support as you will see from there website.... Kryptview is undergoing some updates... this message has been on there site for about 6 months

The epg problems are being sorted at the moment and the update wont be long off m8.

Eurovox pvr has only been out about 3 weeks so not much info about it yet as far as reliability goes

Theres also supposed to be a future kryptview pvr but been told it'll be quite a few months off yet but hopfully will be worth waiting for as the build quality of these boxes is far superior to the eurovox imo
