Default Manualy Updating Lost Channels

Ok can someone please tell me where I am going wrong when updating lost channels on the box super 3.
I have flashed box with V8 FW and still I loose channels now and then, ok I do a manual update to get lost channels back BUT it never restores them back so then it's an auto scan after clear channel data, ok this brings them back after 5 minutes, BUT the problem when you do an Auto scan you then lose all your Favs channels you set up which can take a few hours to get them how you want them, so can someone please tell me exactly how you get lost channels back doing a manual scan, cos when I do it, it does not bring them back.

try deleting the channel first then do a manual scan this usually works.

Strange that you keep losing channels in the first place. Its quite normal for Ireland of late but not for the UK. Do you delete the channels from your list before a manual scan?

Unit14 was thinking the same thing and got there before me, so two opinions cant be bad

thanks for this reply mate, but what if you have say about 10 lost channels, do you have to delete all of them first then do a manual scan.

yes but hopefully some will be on the same frequency and you wont have to do 10 different scans , also dont forget to make a note of the channel frequency your deleting if you delete them all at the same time.
