Default The end of stupid petrol prices?

Supermarkets cutting fuel costs:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/7518516.stm

And after hitting $147 barrel last week, oil dropped today to $127 barrel:
http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/5c2fd8c2-5...nclick_check=1

Looks like we may have finally overcome the recent peak in oil prices.

If so, bout bloody time!

Too right, let's hope it stays lower for a while.

Apperently there had also been an increase in cars running out of juice,

syphoned out by thieves.

As usual it takes a long time to reduce prices, but very quick to up the prices, both are based on spot prices before refining, greed springs to mind. Its like the old days of tax increase on fags, up the old stock.
On another point Brown/Blair/Prescot have a govt vehicle for life with
full running costs as ex p.ms or deputy, and wait for this, they can choose to have a tax exempt alternative in cash, price of a litre Mr Brown,eh 50 pence
thats cheap Mr Brown, oh its a fair price for milk, No Mr Brown I mean
petrol/diesel, Oh I never need to buy it. How far from the truth is that.

I've notice prices starting to drop. Tesco here is still 1p more expensive than most other outlets.

You can compare your local prices at www.petrolprices.com

not bad wasp, top of the class, however no petrol or diesel in
white pass. The highest village in Wales and only 5 miles from Wrexham
town centre.
