Default Menu/yellow button problems

Hello all

My box suddenly got stuck in standby.. apparently a transister had blown

Anyway, thats been replaced now.. need a firmware update

But untill then, i'm trying to input the latest keys, but when i press the menu button followed by the yellow key, nothing happens

Can anyone help?

Regards

that doesnt sound good mate. its probably scrambled some of the box. try the update but if its still the same then you will need a new box. i'm sure the update will work though. at the moment that yellow button aint gunna work any other way i'm afraid.

it depends what firmware was previously on the box, not all allows the menu-yellow button way.
Have you tried the menu-language settings then type 1968 twice and it will show you the nagravision table were you can change the keys

i reckon the box is fubard then because of the blowage to the transister. check for damaged areas if you have opened your box up. but even then it could be damaged anyway with out being able to see it as it could be so small.

I know they are, but it's such a pain in the bottom to do it..

got the wrong rs323 lead

then got the null one, keep getting no com port selected, tried and tried to figure out.. what to do, but the option just aint their on my xp

thought the laptop had a serial port on it, so got another lead, turns out its a different kind.. looks the same, just has more pins

is there any one in the midlands who could do it for me?
