Question Nokia D-BOX 1 & D-BOX 2

Hi there, im new to all of this but I know a little bit of knowledge about this.

I am going to buy a Nokia d-box from ebay because I heard they are really good for cable.

The problem is I see that there is 2 different d-boxes, there is a d-box 1 & 2, I want to know whats the difference between them and which one I should get?

Also am I making the right decision buying a Nokia D-box?

Final thing I want to know is if I buy a Nokia d-box from ebay will it be ready for me to enter the new keys in and it will work? or will i need to scan for the channels and set my location etc.

Any help is welcome, thanks in advance

When you receive it it's only a question of hooking it up to your cable line and scanning, if it's a dbox2 in debug mode (which is what you want)

If the guy selling it hasn't got an auto updating image on it there's plenty of help to be had here - so basically if your channels go off we can help get 'em back.

Good luck!

That will do just fine my friend. All you will need to do is drop in services and bouquets for your area, then all should be well........simple !!
