Evening all.
I am currently using progdvb with my TT C-1501 on bda drivers. I have tried to install MT but am getting a no signal error when scanning the transponders. Now I have read here that I need to use the 2.19h WDM drivers for the card. The problem is Technotrend only have a WDM driver for the TT C-1500 card not the 1501. I thought the drivers might be the same but when i try to install them I get a "No suitable hardware found" error. Can anyone suggest something to try? I see a Firmware folder in the MT installation folder. Perhap there is a some thing i can do there? Windows MCE2005 P4 2Ghz 1 Gb Ram 6800 GT gfx On board sound card All latest drivers. Any help appreciated, Thanks, Wavey. |

You should use the latest BDA drivers, the 1500 and 1501 are mor or less the same card. you need to import a transponder file for your area into MT then do a scan, open MT right click on the tv screen, settings, cable and scan, import the transponder file and do a scan |

Thanks for the replies guys.
I have already search through 4 or 5 forums with no success. I have edited the Channels.mdb file to suit based on the .ini file that is already working with Progdvb. All the transponders seem to import ok. But when I hit scan I get no signal from an transponder. (There is a signal there as Progdvb is working). Unless I have edited the.mdb file incorrectly. I have attached both here. This is for NTL Cable TV in Ireland BTW. Thanks again, Waveymdb.JPG NTL Dublin 041007text.txt |

Wavey mate, you have to save the channels mdb or whatever you edited or created as a .ini file (don’t know if you have or not), the 64 is the QAM you don’t need this in your transponder list for MT but you do have to tell it to use this. In the cable settings at the bottom it says constellation, use QAM64. How many transponders does the file you created and used with progdvb have?? and was it saved as a .ini file.

Evening.
I thought MT used a database file instead of the ini. There was no ini in the installation directory after install. Will try creating one. Although I have just setup DVBViewer and seems to be far superior to all the rest. Nice GUI and very stable. Might just stick with that for now. Thanks for the help guys. Wavey. |
