I have an old pace ds340dn box - when hooked up, i have picture break up in the top right hand corner - I have a sky+ box which works perfectly with same connections.
Signal is fine - any ideas?

Pace box prob getting deaf.. they usually do after 3 - 4 years. Can replace front end but not always worth the hastle /cost unless you DIY..

What kind of break up ? Digital artefacts (squares miscoloured) or analogue "tearing".
The latter is typical of poor frame sync compatability, normally on a mechanical source (VCR) and an unmatched TV input. Try the Pace on another TV.

Its more than likely that your box is up the duff

The older pace units are prone to it unfortunately. You can replace the tuners in them but like someone else has said before its just not worth it when you can get a replacement box off eBay for £10

Fortunately though they do make very good doorstops. I got another 12 months out of my old Nokia D2Mac decoder that way
