as my modem 255 wont connect to the HyperTerminal no P coming up does this program need to be my defalut telnet? cheers any replys would very greatful thanks again 50

Matey use linscat shop everyting need is there and service is great.

i got my rs232 from him n its been the best one ive had so far n ive had quite a few different ones

Do you get any data on the Telnet screen - you won't get the P if the modem has taken the Firmware update that started last year

no i dont get the p mate but when i use a diff program it connects to the modem, but the says serail connection failed. what would i need to connect my max 232 correctly?
