Default pace box

Hi,
My pace cable box has stopeed working today, it usually runs on a funcard. It will not boot when the cable is plugged in it gets power to it but instead of running as usual it either sticks on the pace sign or just shows 8888 and does nothing else...does anyone know how to fix this? thanks

try this if you have a hot air gun press down on each chip in turn using a screwdriver etc while heating the legs with the hot air gun This should cure any dry joints and get the box up and running again

there are different ways to resolve this depending on the stb, if your stb has a simm try to clean it first then replace

Check in the eng menu if you have a good signal, net id is ok ,have you been disconnected ? check connections etc, if all good try reboot/forced update.
