Hi,
There are two things that may be causing your problem that I can think of:- 1. The wrong cable- please post a link to it on the wickes website, or strip some back and post a photo. 2. An LNB problem, please post the model number of the LNB Robbo

What size dish are you using and where abouts are you situated, e.g. North West England?
Can you please confirm the channel frequency and details as I can't find anything listed on 12520, there are Digi TV channels on 12527 H 27500. Last edited by Mickha; 25-07-08 at 08:34 PM. |

Not the best sat cable, but it should do the job.
Also use 11325H, it is easier to find. Also if the LNB is a FSKUVN the skew on them is well f***ed, you have to turn it anti-clockwise by approx 45-70 degress (looking at dish face) from where you think it should be. Robbo

You might need a little more information, 11325 H 27500 BBC World.
You are doing well as you have found Thor 1W, and now all you need to do is a bit of tweaking. First very gently nudge your dish, and mount, to get the strongest signal, then tighten it up. Check your LNB is the correct focal distance from your dish, slide it back and forth a little until you have the strongest signal. Then try skewing the LNB, again until you have the strongest signal. |
